This show is part of our 2025 Celtic Music Series!
About: Ryan McKasson (fiddle, viola, vocals), Eric McDonald (guitar, mandolin, vocals), and Jeremiah McLane (accordion, piano, vocals) are Kalos, a trio inspired by the maritime traditions of Scotland, Ireland, Scandinavia, and North America. Like a river, their performances flow with spontaneity—never the same twice—and pulse with rhythmic electricity, blending driving dance tunes with pastoral melodies and vivid storytelling.
Rooted in Celtic music but unbound by tradition, Kalos weaves intricate compositions full of chaos and chance, yet always balanced and spacious, much like nature itself. Their concerts are immersive experiences, combining virtuosic musicianship with playful banter, rich harmonies, and an undeniable connection to the acoustic spaces they inhabit. With music that honors the meeting point of land and sea, Kalos creates a dynamic soundscape that transcends boundaries and captivates audiences.
