The Derailleurs recreate the early string jazz catacomb club vibes of prewar Paris, featuring the break-neck Gypsy-style guitar work of Dwayne Brooke and Ken Bussey (The Woodshedders/Ginata Pinata), the crafty swinging upright slap bass of Randy Ball (Hard Swimmin’ Fish) and the rowdy vintage boom-bap drum stylings of Trent Renshaw (Hello Strangers). The band skillfully improvises over all of the classic Django Reinhardt Hot Club of France dancehall repertoire, with occasional playful forays into outlandish anachronistic Django-esque cover versions of artists like Post-Malone and Metallica. We are excited to announce that The Barns of Rose Hill show will also feature special guest and hot fiddler extraordinaire David Van Deventer (Furnace Mountain).
Times: Doors open at 6:30 PM and concert starts at 7 PM
Ticket Prices & Info: All Tickets are General Admission. $20 in advance until 3:00 PM on the day of event. $25 at the door. Children 12 years and below are free when accompanied by an adult
Tickets may be purchased in advance either online or by calling the Barns of Rose Hill Box Office at (540) 955-2004 (Noon to 3:00 – Tuesday through Saturday). If you call when our Box Office is closed, please leave a message and we’ll return your call within 24 business hours. All sales are final. Exceptions for special circumstances may be made no later than 24 hours prior to performance.
