Melissa Foster Exhibit
September 3 @ 12:00 PM - September 30 @ 3:00 PM
Born in Washington DC I grew up in the Virginia countryside.Steeped in beauty, This is where my visionary life began. My education was gathered from museums around the world. I am a folklorist of nature’s mythology Each painting is a ballad or sometimes a puzzle or riddle from the cosmos. From this I paint.
Now nestled in Appalachia, I work to chronicle the sagas unfolding around me. From my humming bees to the spring bulls frolicking in the fields ,I paint.
This show will be an exploration of the natural world that is happening all around us.
