Born in Havana, Cuba, Luis Lamothe Duribe is an extraordinary artist who creates images of the land of his birth in whimsical, black-and-white linoleum prints.  Lamothe then prints — on a small, handpress — exceedingly small runs of his works, usually printing only 15 copies of the pieces he has spent a month or more carving into used floor linoleum.
