Join us for a night of toe-tapping old-time and traditional music by highly-respected musicians Joe and Sam Herrmann (Critton Hollow String Band), David McLaughlin (Springfield Exit, Johnson Mountain Boys), and Marshall Wilborn (Lynn Morris Band, Springfield Exit).

Their songs express a range of experience that can make you laugh or make you cry – and occasionally do both at the same time. Their ballads tell stories of bad men and disappointed lovers. Their instrumentals will make you want to get up and dance or just sit back and listen.

David and Joe both sing, play guitar, fiddle, banjo, and mandolin. Sam sings and plays hammered dulcimer, guitar, and mandolin. Marshall plays bass and sings. The group plays songs and instrumentals that draw from their backgrounds in bluegrass & old-time traditions as well as contemporary sources.

Doors open at 7:00 and show starts at 8:00 PM

$20 in advance until 3:00 PM on the day of event
$25 at the door
Children: 12 years and below are free when accompanied by an adult

Tickets may be purchased in advance either online or by calling the Barns of Rose Hill Box Office at 540-955-2004 (Noon to 3:00 – Tuesday through Saturday). If you call when our Box Office is closed, please leave a message and we’ll return your call within 24 business hours. All sales are final. Exceptions for special circumstances may be made no later than 24 hours prior to performance.
