Furnace Mountain Band Birthday Bash | SOLD OUT!

January 21 @ 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

This event is now SOLD OUT! Tickets will NOT be available at the door.

About: Named “the area’s premier acoustic band” by The Washingtonian, the Barns of Rose Hill happily welcomes Furnace Mountain Band back to showcase their transcendent, innovative, and rootsy sound.

Comprised of Aimee Curl, Morgan Morrison, Dave Van Deventer (aka Fiddlin’ Dave), and Danny Knicely, the band is named after the mountain near where the members grew up and first found musical inspiration. And aren’t we fortunate to have the band here to celebrate Fiddlin’ Dave’s birthday! Join us for this birthday bash, complete with enlivening old-time tunes and—the foundation of any great party—cake.

Together, Furnace Mountain Band is known for creating music that is at times lively and raucous, with spirited melodies weaving in and around powerful rhythms, and other times poignant and poetic, with sublime vocal harmonies. As the host band of Watermelon Pickers’ Festival, the band has built a reputation for playing old-time music from the American Appalachian traditions, energetic original compositions, and songs penned by their favorite song-writing friends.

Date & Time: Saturday, January 21, 2023. Doors open at 6:00 PM and the concert starts at 7:00 PM.
