About: Experience the lively, high-energy sounds of Martha Spencer and the Wonderland Country Band and their unique brand of rockabilly, country, bluegrass, and vibrant mountain music. Enjoy an upbeat performance with guitar, fiddle, banjo, bass, dulcimer, drums, washboard, vocals, and even traditional flatfoot clogging. Led by Martha Spencer, the Wonderland Country Band includes Jamie Collins on bass/vocals, Lucas Pasley on fiddle/banjo/vocals and Jake Dwyer on percussion/washboard/dance.
Martha Spencer is a singer-songwriter, mountain musician and dancer from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. She grew up in the musical Spencer family and learned to play several instruments (guitar, fiddle, banjo, bass, dulcimer, mandolin) and flatfoot/clog at a young age. She performs and has recorded with various groups and has been involved with several roots music projects.
Spencer has played shows, festivals and led workshops across the US, Australia, UK, and Europe. Martha’s first solo album and latest release have been featured in articles in Rolling Stone Country, No Depression, Bluegrass Situation, and more. She also has been included in articles in the NY Times, Billboard, and was a part of the Fiddlin’ documentary movie.
About Bluegrass & BBQ: At our Bluegrass and BBQ shows, we combine bluegrass music with award-winning barbecue from Jordan Springs Market. In the hour leading up to the show, patrons can purchase and enjoy a delicious plate of barbecue (sold separately).
Date & Time: Saturday, February 1, 2025. Doors open at 6:00 PM and the concert starts at 7:00 PM.
Ticket Price: All tickets are general admission. $25 in advance until 3:00 PM on the day of the event. $30 at the door. Children 12 years and below are free when accompanied by an adult.
