About: Celebrate Mother’s Day with an afternoon, acoustic concert, featuring Loudoun Youth Guitars!

Made up of talented and highly motivated guitar students from several middle and high schools in Loudoun County, Loudoun Youth Guitars is one of the finest youth ensembles in the metropolitan area. They perform music by composers from various musical eras, including Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and contemporary.

The ensemble was formed in 2008 by Dr. Miroslav Lončar, who still directs LYG alongside assistant director, Dr. Nataša Klasinc-Lončar. Since its conception, LYG has presented concerts throughout Loudoun County and the metropolitan area at a number of venues, including the Kennedy Center, the Croatian Embassy, the National Institutes of Health, the Composer Society of Montgomery County, Loudoun County Public Libraries, Washington College, Salisbury University, and Shepherd University.

Date & Time: Sunday, May 12, 20234. Doors open at 3:00 PM and the concert starts at 4:00 PM.

Ticket Price: All seating is general admission. Tickets are $5 in advance and at the door. Children 12 years and below are free when accompanied by an adult.
