About: Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream—a vision of a better, more inclusive future that continues to inspire people worldwide. This January, we invite families to reflect on his legacy by dreaming big for their own futures.
Join us in creating Dream Clouds, a hands-on activity where children and their families can design and decorate paper clouds with their hopes and aspirations. Each cloud will be displayed on our Dream Board, a collective art installation celebrating the power of dreams and imagination.
Here’s how it works:
Decorate your own paper cloud using a variety of art supplies—markers, crayons, glitter glue, and more.
Write or draw your dreams for the future: What does your ideal world look like? What would you like to accomplish?
Add your creation to our Dream Board and see how your dreams connect with others in the community.
This activity is designed to inspire children of all ages and is perfect for families to enjoy together. Materials will be provided, and participation is free—just bring your imagination! Children must be accompanied by a guardian.
Let’s honor Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy by dreaming of a brighter tomorrow, one cloud at a time.
