About: Captain Curiosity (aka Richie Whitehead) is an actor, clown, and teacher who takes joy in combining his love for playful, engaging performance with his passion for education. Travel to a galaxy of out-of-this-world entertainment with “Found in the Stars.”
In this galactic coming-of-age adventure, Captain Curiosity finds himself stranded in space with a severely damage ship! He bravely sets off into the unknown to find a way to fix it. Throughout this interactive program, kids will learn the science of stars, black holes, orbits, the speed of light and much more— all while helping Captain Curiosity embrace his passion for science and learn to appreciate the interests of others too.
This free family-friendly event is open to the public; brought to you in partnership with the Clarke County Library. Registration is encouraged.
Date & Time: Monday, July 22. Doors open at 10:30 am and the program begins at 11:00 am.
