Berryville celebrated its 225th anniversary in January of 2023, and we’ve been delighted to host programs and exhibits throughout the year in honor of this historic milestone. Join us at the Barns of Rose Hill on Sunday, September 17 for the final anniversary event of the year, including a commemorative quilt raffle drawing, a free screening of the local documentary film Saving Place, Saving Grace, and Berryville swag giveaways.
Raffle Details: Designed and crafted by the Apple Valley Needle Threaders Quilt Guild using the official color palette for the Town of Berryville, a commemorative quilt will be raffled off on Sept. 17, 2023, during the final anniversary year community event. Raffle tickets are $5 each and available now at the Barns of Rose Hill, where the quilt will remain on display until the winning raffle ticket is drawn.
Raffle Ticket Price & Information: Raffle tickets are $5 each. Proceeds benefit anniversary community events. Purchase raffle tickets online or by visiting the Barns of Rose Hill from noon to 3:00 PM, Tuesday through Saturday. All sales are final.
About the Film: Saving Place, Saving Grace is the story of a Trappist monastery's struggle for reformation of their home by embracing an intense sustainability initiative. Witness the monks' land stewardship, contemplative prayer, and work ethic that shapes the core of their community, Holy Cross Abbey in Berryville, Virginia - a place where ecology meets theology.
