This Talk is brought to us by the Clarke County Branch of the Handley Regional Library

Come hike with Lauralee Bliss, trail name “Blissful” and she takes you along the Appalachian Trail in Virginia through pictures and stories of her adventures. We will start in in Damascus and head north through the famous Grayson Highlands State Park with its wild ponies, McAfee Knob – the most photographic point on the trail, along the Blue Ridge, into Shenandoah National Park and to northern Virginia. Lauralee Bliss is a two-time Appalachian Trail long distance hiker completing the trail both north and south and is currently section hiking it for a third time. She has also completed other long distance trails in multiple states and served many years as a ridgerunner assisting long distance hikers on the Appalachian Trail. A book signing about her trail adventures follows.
