Course Description / Introduction to Color Theory
This course is an introduction to the psycho-physiological experience of color and how to use it.
What is color?
How do we see it?
What do we need to see it?
How does the eye work?
How do we experience color?
What are the mitigating factors?
How does color influence us, physically and psychologically?
How can we use color in art and design, or in our life in general?
How can we communicate in color?
By experimenting with paint and colored paper through a series of exercises we will explore, first how we see color, personally, and why we see it the way we do. Then we’ll explore how to use it as a means of personal expression and communication.
Doors open at 9:30 and class starts at 10:00 PM
Class Prices & Info:
$125 for all classes registration deadline is 1/27/17
$30 per class for walk-ins
Children: 12 years and below are free when accompanied by an adult
