The American Conservation Film Festival brings its BEST OF FEST to Barns of Rose Hill!
Featuring the 2016 ACFF Audience Choice Award winner, SEED: The Untold Story.
About the Film:
Few things on Earth are as miraculous and vital as seeds, worshipped and treasured since the dawn of humankind. This film follows passionate seed keepers protecting our 12,000 year-old food legacy. In the last century, 94% of our seed varieties have disappeared. As biotech chemical companies control the majority of our seeds, farmers, scientists, lawyers, and indigenous seed keepers fight a David and Goliath battle to defend the future of our food. 74 minutes
5:30pm – 6:15pm – reception – snacks and cash bar
6:15pm – Welcome and show three selected trailers from films that will be at 2017 festival
6:30pm – 7:45 – screening of SEED
7:45pm – 8:15pm- discussion and Q & A with topical speakers, TBA

All Tickets are General Admission
$5 in advance $8.00 at the door
Free Admission for ages 16 years and below. Must be accompanied by an adult.
Tickets may be purchased in advance either online or by calling the Barns of Rose Hill Box Office at 540-955-2004 (Noon to 3:00 – Tuesday through Saturday). If you call when our Box Office is closed, please leave a message and we’ll return your call within 24 business hours.

Do I need to print out a copy of my tickets?
Help us save trees! If you purchase your tickets via Eventbrite, then there’s no need to print out paper tickets when you attend the event. Just bring a valid ID and we’ll check you in at the door via our Eventbrite attendee list.
